Double the Hudson RiverKids, Double the Summer of Fun!

May 17

Our Hudson RiverKids series kicks off earlier than ever this year, bringing your favorite family entertainment back to Hudson River Park starting next week, and extending the fun well into September! And our RiverKids season isn’t just longer, it’s packed with more music, magic, stories and fun than ever before.

For the first time, your favorite acts will delight Park audiences twice a week, each Monday and Thursday, giving both the Chelsea and Tribeca communities a weekly opportunity to get in on the fun! Our lineup brings popular performers — including The Story Pirates, City Stomp, the Penny Jones Puppets and the Latin Grammy winning Mister G — back to our piers, and they’ll be joined with some exciting new acts.

New for our 2017 season, the Bilingual Birdies Band will teach foreign language and cross-cultural awareness through interactive live music. Grammy Award Winner and Emmy Nominated Tim Kubart will entertain kids and parents alike with “indie pop for all ages,” and audiences are sure to adore the multi-talented Mike Messer of Dirty Sock Funtime Band, and local NYC favorite, Suzi Shelton!

Join us at Pier 62 on Monday, May 22 and at Pier 25 on Thursday, May 25 as we kick off our season with Kid Ace! A staple of our lineup since 2015, Kid Ace blends incredible illusions with modern music and fashion, and in addition to wowing Hudson RiverKids families, he’s a popular act at our Halloween Kidz Karnival event. We’re thrilled to kick-start our expanded season with this Park favorite, and we can’t wait to fill our piers with family fun all summer long!
