Stephanie King

Major Gifts Officer

Stephanie King serves as the Major Gifts Officer at Hudson River Park Friends. She has 12 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising. She began her fundraising career at the Katonah Museum of Art as the Director of Special Events, providing leadership in developing fundraising programs to ensure a diverse revenue stream including annual campaigns, corporate sponsorships, major gift cultivation and special events.

Stephanie transitioned to a Senior Director of Development position at the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation where she reimagined fundraising strategies and cultivated relationships to advance levels of philanthropic support during the recent healthcare crisis. She worked closely with major donors and corporate foundations to ensure philanthropic growth. Stephanie continued her career in the healthcare field at the American Association For The Study of Liver Diseases working to develop a strategic fundraising plan to diversify and strengthen AASLD Foundation’s revenue streams.

Stephanie holds a Master’s degree from NYU and is a member of the NYC Chapters of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and Women in Development. Stephanie enjoys the outdoors and in her free time can be found playing tennis or hiking through the parks of New York.
