Aloysee Heredia Jarmoszuk currently serves as Commissioner and Chair of the New York City Taxi and Limousine Commission (TLC). Most recently, Heredia Jarmoszuk served as Chief of Staff to the Deputy Mayor for Operations, where she managed and coordinated 25 City agencies and programs.
Prior to her tenure at the Mayor’s Office, Heredia Jarmoszuk served as the Chief of Staff for Central Operations at the Department of Education (DOE) overseeing 10,000 non-pedagogical employees responsible for ensuring high-quality school environments for NYC’s 1.1 million public school students.
Before DOE, Heredia Jarmoszuk worked at New York University as the Chief of Staff for University Development and Alumni Relations and served as the Director of Institutional Philanthropy and Development at the New York Women’s Foundation. Heredia Jarmoszuk began her career in investment management, holding various positions at Sanford C. Bernstein, Deutsche Bank, Lehman Brothers and Neuberger Berman.
Heredia Jarmoszuk received her undergraduate degree from William Smith College in Geneva, NY and was a member of the Hobart and William Smith Colleges Board of Trustees. A native New Yorker, Heredia Jarmoszuk resides with her family in Manhattan.
