Due to construction in the area, the bike path adjacent to the Park will shrink to one lane between W 31 St and W 34 St from September 20 through September 26 each night from 10:00 PM-6:00 AM. Please use caution when riding in the area.
Pier Closures on September 20, 2019
Pier 46 will be closed starting at 6 AM, reopening Saturday, September 21 from 9 AM - 2 PM for a free public event. Pier 46 will be closed again September 21 from 2 PM, reopening Sunday, September 22 at 6 AM.

Pier 25 Turf, Skate Park, and Basketball Court will be closed until 4 PM on September 5, 2019
Please be advised that construction continues at the St. Johns Terminal Building and West Houston St between Washington St and West St will continue to be closed to vehicular traffic overnight (9pm to 5am) until further notice.
The pedestrian sidewalk on the north side of Houston Street and south side of Clarkson street are currently closed due to the construction.
The Esplanade at Morton Street is now open for pedestrian traffic. The landscaped area will remain closed until work has concluded. Intermittent short-term closures of portions of the Esplanade may be required while the landscape is restored.
Pier 40 - Picnic House is closed until further notice
NYS and NYC have worked together to install temporary barricades along the entire bikeway. Cyclists are cautioned to slow down at intersections, to stay in lanes and to watch for pedestrians crossing. Pedestrians are asked to use the separate esplanade wherever possible.
