Our Spring Photo-Synthesis Winner Goes for the Gold!

June 8

The entries for our spring Photo-Synthesis contest wowed us with bright colors, dreamy Park days, and…  well, a lot of photosynthesis! This season returned leaves to our trees and brought flowers of all colors and shapes back to our four miles of parkland – and you, our trusted Park photographers, captured it all!

Choosing just one winner proved no easy task, but our top pick brings together so many components of what makes Hudson River Park stunning in springtime, we couldn’t look away. Art, blooms, greenery and boundless sunshine. What’s not to love? Congratulations, Instagram fan @mr.zachypants!

We admire the way The Apple, one of our Park’s most iconic art pieces, and its surrounding garden catch the golden light in this photo. Its colorful palate and welcoming composition make us want to get out and enjoy this vibrant blooming season.

So what does spring in Hudson River Park look like to you? Our stunning assembly of Honorable Mentions offer some truly enticing answers.
