Learn and Explore at the SUBMERGE Marine Science Festival May 17 & 18

Come celebrate all things marine science during two fun-filled days at Hudson River Park’s 11th Annual SUBMERGE Marine Science Festival!

Taking place Friday, May 17 and Saturday, May 18 at Pier 84, SUBMERGE brings marine science to life. Join our River Project team and regional STEM experts to learn about NYC’s coastal waters and wildlife. This interactive science festival invites the public to explore water topics through awesome experiments, kid-approved entertainment and much more!

Hudson River Park’s River Project is committed to advancing public awareness and understanding of our connected waterways. SUBMERGE offers two days of learning and excitement in the Park—aims to inspire and make marine science accessible and engaging for everyone.

During this special day of SUBMERGE, teachers can book a field trip to attend the festival. Students will have the opportunity to participate in this interactive event and try out jaw-dropping experiments, meet local wildlife and learn from local STEM experts. SUBMERGE field trips are free to book, with priority access given to Title I schools.

Space is limited, so please book a field trip today. Field trip timeslots occur every half-hour starting at 10:15 AM and last for about 60–90 minutes.
