STEM on Little Island

HRPK's River Project

Join our River Project educators this month on Little Island for a series of creative workshops focused on the Park’s Sanctuary waters.

Visit us at the Art Cart, Little Island’s mobile hub for creativity and artmaking, where our educators will be leading a series of STEM workshops inspired by our local waterways.

Join us at each workshop to discover different animals native to the Estuary including fish, crabs, seahorses and plankton. Create animal-inspired art and learn about the important role each organism plays in the Hudson River ecosystem. These workshops are free to join—however, timed entry to Little Island is required. Learn more here.

To ensure the safety of all patrons of Hudson River Park during the COVID-19 pandemic, we ask that anyone who is not vaccinated please wear a mask or face covering at Hudson River Park events when not able to maintain a six-foot distance from others.
