To celebrate the completion of David Hammon’s Day’s End, the Whitney Museum is offering free admission on May 16 from 11:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
Located across the street from the Whitney Museum of American Art in Hudson River Park, on Gansevoort Peninsula, this monumental public sculpture was developed by the Whitney Museum of American Art, with the artist, in collaboration with the Park as a gift to New Yorkers.
Throughout the day, the museum’s outdoor spaces will host family programming like drawing and printing workshops. Make sure to grab free tickets ahead of time at whitney.org so you don’t miss out.
