Haley Schwartz is a resident of downtown NYC for more than twenty years. She and her husband David, a Real Estate Developer, raise their three children in Tribeca.

Haley currently manages her family’s philanthropic endeavors, where she harnesses her passions to make the most impact in New York City. Her efforts focus on homeless prevention/ poverty reduction, Educational Development, the Arts and children’s causes.

Recently, Haley led the Capital Campaign for the new Pier 26 Playground and planned Estuarian, raising millions of dollars and ultimately bringing great beauty to the West Side of Manhattan.

Haley serves on the Board of Directors of Hudson River Park Friends as well as the Board of Trustees for Gods Love We Deliver. She serves on several committees as well including the Arts & Culture and Playground Committees for Hudson River Park and the Allen-Stevenson School Advisory Council. She founded Allen-Stevenson’s ‘Schwartz Family Fund for the Learning Resource Center.’ Haley also donates her time and resources The Child Mind Institute & The Museum of Jewish Heritage. Haley and her family also actively support The Center for Community Alternatives, UJA, The Furman Center at NYU, Riseboro, Westhab and The Brooklyn Hospital Center.

Previously, Haley worked in publishing as a magazine editor for over a decade. Haley was the Senior Market Editor for Conde Nast’s Gourmet Magazine for several years. She wrote articles covering design and lifestyle as well as styled their elaborate photo shoots. Haley has also contributed to the New York Times, Oprah, Modern Bride, Monocle, Vogue Living, Men’s Journal, CITY Magazine.

Haley received her BA from Hofstra University and earned a Master of Arts Degree from New York University in Media Studies.
