Science after Dark is an evening event series geared towards adults ages 21+

Each evening showcases a different theme and is held in a unique Hudson River Park setting, including the Pier 40 Wetlab and the Pier 57 Discovery Tank, which will serve as the inspiration for your exploration into local science.

Laugh and learn from local STEM experts featured through this series of informative and entertaining events. Ask a Scientist invites participants to explore a fascinating science topic and engage in a live Q&A session with the experts. Hudson River Park is teaming up with Secret Science Club and Nerd Nite to offer this special series in the Pier 57 Discovery Tank and the Pier 40 Wetlab.

Back 2 School Workshops

Get your notebooks ready – it’s time to go “back to school” during these hands-on events where you can dive into fascinating local science. Join us for an interactive exploration of science and nature where you can learn to monitor oysters, check out a plankton sample under the microscope, meet local wildlife and more!

  • $10 registration to participate
  • Recommended for guests 18 and over
  • Each ticket includes two complimentary beverages, including a selection of beer for guests 21+ and soft drinks
