RULES & REGULATIONS

  • The skate park is to be used on a first come, first served basis. Do not use the skate park if it is too crowded for you to skate safely
  • ONLY skateboards, in-line skates and roller skates are allowed within the skate park
  • Skaters SHOULD wear helmets at all times. The use of knee pads, elbow pads and wrist guards are STRONGLY RECOMMENDED
  • Do not use this skate park when the skating surface is wet or other hazardous conditions exist. Report any such conditions immediately to (212) 242-6427, 24/7
  • Amplified sound, organized events or sales of any kind are ONLY allowed with written permission from Hudson River Park
  • Littering is prohibited. Permittee is responsible for cleaning and restoring to its proper condition all areas of the Park affected by the permittee’s use
  • Report any illegal activity including vandalism and graffiti immediately to (212) 242-6427, 24/7
  • Hudson River Park reserves the right to close the skate park for events, emergencies, or when conditions necessitate
  • Hudson River Park is not responsible for personal property
  • The skate park may be monitored by video surveillance
  • Violation of any rule may result in your removal from skate park and/or other sanctions including revoking of rights to use the skate park and/or a summons to appear in court

STRICTLY PROHIBITED

  • Bicycles, scooters, or motorized devices
  • Drinking or eating on the skate surface
  • Glass of any kind
  • Spectators on the skating surface
  • Added obstacles or other objects such as ramps and jumps
  • Alcoholic beverages, smoking, or drugs
  • Animals or pets
  • Posting or distribution of pamphlets, handbills or advertisements of any kind

WARNING

By entering the skate park, you are assuming all risk for injuries and damages. Skateboarding and skating are hazardous recreational activities which can result in serious injury or even death. Hudson River Park, the City and the State of New York do not assume any responsibility for damage or injuries resulting from entering or using this facility.

This is an unsupervised facility. Enter the skate park at your own risk.
