Hudson River Park’s Ask a Scientist returns with Nerd Nite in our Wetlab aquarium!

Nerd Nite NYC eagerly returns to Hudson River Park to bring you three fun-yet-informative water-themed presentations.

Have a few drinks while you learn about visual special effects as related to Avatar 2: The Way of Water by Nick Felker, water runoff in NYC by Evelyn Zornoza, and 20,000 Leagues Under the E: A Fishing-Based Tour of New York’s Marine Environment by Brad Dubik.

Before & After the Talks

• Get up close and personal with wildlife from NYC’s liquid wilderness. Check out the exhibits & aquariums in the Wetlab, filled with creatures that live right under our noses alongside Wall Street, Tribeca, the West Village, and Chelsea.
• Enjoy complimentary beverages, including beer and soft drinks.

About Ask A Scientist

This event invites participants to explore a fascinating science topic and engage in a live Q&A session with the experts. Hudson River Park is teaming up with local partners to offer this special series of informative and entertaining events.
