Wetlab Look-ins

HRPK's River Project

Come face to face with native Hudson River wildlife in the Wetlab! Visit anytime between 3:00–6:00 PM.

Our flow-through aquarium houses dozens of species of New York fish and invertebrates all caught within the Park as part of an ongoing ecological survey. The Wetlab is a rotating live exhibit as animals are released throughout the season to ensure that their behaviors are minimally impacted.

Drop in and take a tour with our River Project staff to see this unique attraction and answer your questions about local wildlife. Join us for a tour between 3:00–6:00 PM. Please note that at this time, we are asking that all guests to the Wetlab please wear masks and observe social distance.

If you can’t make it to Pier 40, keep an eye out on Instagram Live @hudsonriverpark because we will be streaming special live feeding events and species spotlights.

To ensure the safety of all patrons of Hudson River Park during the COVID-19 pandemic, we ask that anyone who is not vaccinated please wear a mask or face covering at Hudson River Park events when not able to maintain a six-foot distance from others.
