Jennifer Cohan is founder of Compact Strategic Advisors, a marketing and communications advisory firm that equips impact-oriented enterprises and organizations to commercialize their business and brands. Jen’s clients include some of the world’s leading technology and asset management firms and innovative economic development organizations.
Prior to establishing her own consultancy, Jen served as President of Edelman’s flagship New York operation, where among other responsibilities, she commercialized new services, including digital advisory and customer experience, and multi-stakeholder sustainability engagement. She designed the first-ever brand companion to the Edelman Trust Barometer.
A long-term Board Director of Hudson River Park Friends, Jen chairs the organization’s Communications Committee. She also serves as Board Secretary for Partnership to End Homelessness as a mentor to the Belfer Center’s WomenInPower 92Y fellowship program. Jen served as a volunteer policy advisor to Joe Biden for President in 2020.
Jen is a graduate of Kenyon College and New York University.
