Kara Dennis is a longtime executive in healthcare technology and consulting with experience at McKinsey & Company and Medidata Solutions, and a degree from Harvard Business School. She began her career at Teach for America in Harlem, and then moved into consulting at McKinsey, focusing on life sciences clients and healthcare providers. After business school she took on a series of leadership roles at NYC-based healthcare and enterprise software companies, including Medidata, Clarify Health, and Unqork. She currently serves on the board of Antidote Technologies, a clinical trials technology company, and is also on the board of 443 Greenwich, a residential building in Tribeca.

Throughout her career she has worked across corporate strategy, M&A, and functional leadership roles. She started and led the mobile health team at Medidata that became instrumental in several COVID-19 vaccine clinical trials, and she worked closely with the City of NY and other government organizations on technology for pandemic-related initiatives. She has been interviewed by Bloomberg, NPR, and TheStreet, and has spoken on panels at SXSW and many industry-specific conferences. Kara also holds an MA from Columbia University and a BA from Yale University.
