A native resident of Greenwich Village, Susanna Aaron received Emmy awards in sports and news television before devoting herself to community work. She joined Hudson River Park Friends in 2009 and helped steer its transition from watchdog organization to designated fundraising partner of HRPK, as well as building its advocacy to give a stronger voice to park lovers. Ms. Aaron is a member of Community Board 2, and has served as neighborhood representative or volunteer at numerous organizations. She produced Stonewall 45, a commemorative exhibition on the modern LGBT rights movement. She holds a Masters Degree in Urban Planning.
