Oliver joined Hudson River Park Friends in 2025 as a Seasonal Associate, supporting the Corporate and Community Engagement Team. His connection to the Park began through volunteer work as a Neighborhood Gardener and at the compost facility, where his passion for sustainability and urban green spaces grew into a deeper commitment to the Park.
Originally from South Africa, his career has taken him from the UK, where he helped support international students on work placement programs, to Bermuda, where he led fundraising efforts at two of the island’s leading independent schools. Now calling Manhattan home, he brings a global perspective and a deep commitment to community engagement, sustainability, and philanthropy to his work at Hudson River Park Friends. He holds a degree from the University of Winchester in Business Management and Archaeology, as well as a diploma in Marketing.
