Event Series: Tour the Research Vessel Robert Gray

Through guided experiences at Hudson River Park’s Pier 25, visitors are invited to explore the ship’s history, learn about its role in marine research, and connect with the spirit of discovery.
We’re excited to welcome the R/V Robert Gray as a visiting vessel in Hudson River Park through the end of January. The Voyagers Club is inviting guests aboard for a series of immersive dockside tours. Step onto the deck of a working research vessel and discover how ocean science, exploration, and innovation come together to deepen our understanding of the sea and our place within it.
Each tour invites visitors to explore all three decks of R/V Robert Gray, uncovering the vessel’s storied past and the spirit of exploration it represents. Guests will learn about legendary sea explorers, the ship’s own history and the groundbreaking research missions it has supported—offering a rare glimpse into the world of ocean discovery.
