Hudson River Park remembers Ross Graham — a Chelsea icon and founding mother of Hudson River Park. Ross was a member of the Hudson River Park Conservancy (predecessor to the Hudson River Park Trust) Board of Directors and provided sage counsel to staff and Board members alike.

After the Hudson River Park Act was passed, Ross became a founding member of the Friends of Hudson River Park (now Hudson River Park Friends). She was a passionate advocate for Hudson River Park’s open spaces and care, using decades of experience gained in the halls of Albany as the Chief of Staff to State Senator Fred Ohrenstein to advance community priorities for the Park.

Ross was also a longtime member and leader of Community Board 4. Hudson River Park joins many friends and admirers in remembering and thanking Ross for her wisdom, humor and devotion to the Park and our city.
