Snow and ice can cause slippery and dangerous conditions within the Park, creating the need for closures in certain areas of the Park. Our staff work hard and around the clock to clear snow as soon as possible. Our team clears NYS DOT’s Route 9A Bikeway and the Park’s esplanade first, then moves on to pier pathways.
For your safety, respect any temporary closures and restrictions. Watch out for slippery conditions & downed trees. Please report any downed trees in the Park to our Operations Desk at 212-242-6427.
