Science Stations Galore
Stop by Science Stations throughout the event, where an exciting array of partner groups from all over NYC will be sharing dynamic demonstrations and activities connected to our local waterways.

Hudson River Park’s Critter Corner
Did you know Hudson River Park is home to over 85 species of fish? Check out our tanks to meet local wildlife face to face, including fish, crabs and more!

Big City Fishing
Drop in a line at SUBMERGE and try your hand at catch and release fishing. Join local anglers to learn about local ecology and fish species found in the Hudson River.
We provide the rods, reels, bait and instruction. Appropriate for adults and kids 5+

Roving River
Keep an eye out for the River Project’s Roving River tricycle – an exhibit of Hudson River wildlife on wheels! Observe river animals and interact with smaller creatures in a kid-friendly touch tank.

Nautilus Ship to Shore Talks
Talks at 1:00 & 2:00 PM
Join us on a virtual dive  off the coast of Maui and Lana’i aboard the E/V Nautilus. Learn about ocean conservation and deep sea exploration from engineers, scientists and educators on board the vessel.

Kayak 101
Learn basic paddling techniques and about kayaking in the Hudson River with the Manhattan Kayak Company.

Research Vessel Tours
Hop aboard Monmouth University’s R/V Heidi Lynn Sculthorpe. Take a deck tour, see equipment demonstrations and learn more about the research that happens on board.
