HRPK Blue Team

Join Hudson River Park’s River Project and Volunteer Program at a Blue Team Volunteer Day. Blue Team events, hosted from May through October, give volunteers an opportunity to participate in both oyster monitoring and shoreline cleanup projects.

At shoreline cleanups, volunteers count, categorize and remove marine debris from our shoreline alongside dedicated River Project scientists. During oyster monitoring projects, volunteers clean, measure and record data on local oysters, supporting restoration efforts and learning firsthand how these keystone species strengthen the Hudson River ecosystem.

Join us to help improve conditions in our local waterways, protect Hudson River Park’s Estuarine Sanctuary and build a community of dedicated environmental stewards!
