Come celebrate all things marine science, during two fun-filled days, at Hudson River Park’s SUBMERGE Marine Science Festival! With live and in-Park activities led by our River Project team and STEM experts across New York, SUBMERGE brings marine science to life as we learn about NYC’s coastal waters. This interactive science festival invites the public to grow through awesome experiments, kid-approved entertainment and more!
Hudson River Park’s River Project is committed to advancing public awareness and understanding of our local waterways. The SUBMERGE festival — offering two days of learning and excitement in the Park — aims to inspire audiences of all ages and make marine science and STEM accessible and engaging for everyone.
Friday’s event offers exciting no-cost field trip opportunities for NYC students. We are excited to welcome students at SUBMERGE. Space is limited, and teachers that are interested in bringing a class to the festival can reach out to education@hrpt.ny.gov to learn more.
On Saturday, October 15 the festival is open to the public for all ages to experience and enjoy.
