Come celebrate all things marine science during two fun-filled days at Hudson River Park’s SUBMERGE Marine Science Festival!
With live and in-Park activities led by our River Project team and STEM experts across New York, SUBMERGE brings marine science to life as we learn about NYC’s coastal waters. This interactive science festival invites the public to grow through awesome experiments, kid-approved entertainment and much more!
Hudson River Park’s River Project is committed to advancing public awareness and understanding of our local waterways. The SUBMERGE festival — offering two days of learning and excitement in the Park — aims to inspire audiences of all ages and make marine science and STEM accessible and engaging for everyone.
On Saturday, September 30, we welcome science lovers of all ages to take part in the fun!
Our 25th Anniversary event season is presented by Hudson River Park Friends, the Park’s designated fundraising partner. HRPK Friends is an independent, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to the completion, care and enhancement of the Park.
Hudson River Park is not part of NYC Parks, and we rely on private funds for our programming, maintenance and operations. That means your donations are essential to ensuring our event season remains free for the public. Show your support today.
Stay tuned for Festival Highlights.
Featuring a diverse array of hands-on marine science, opportunities to meet local wildlife and the chance to get on the Hudson River, SUBMERGE offers so many science-centric activities for the whole family to enjoy!
