Eliza Kinsolving

Director of Individual Giving

Eliza serves as the Director of Individual Giving at Hudson River Park Friends. She has 10 years of experience in nonprofit and political fundraising. She began her fundraising career at the National Kidney Foundation in New York City. Eliza mobilized a portfolio of 200+ peer-to-peer fundraising teams, grew her portfolio by $100,000 in one year, and oversaw a 350-person event day volunteer team.

On the West Coast, Eliza worked at the JDRF Greater Bay Area Chapter and oversaw the annual Hope Gala in San Francisco. In 4.5 years, she raised over $8.4 million and broke the all-time event fundraising record at $2.77 million. In her most recent full-time role, Eliza served as a Finance Director on a political campaign in Brooklyn. Eliza attributes her fundraising success to the outstanding volunteer groups she has managed. She is excited to work with the HRPK Friends Playground Committee.

Eliza holds a bachelor’s degree in International Affairs and Hispanic Language and Literature from The George Washington University. She studied abroad in Valparaíso, Chile and worked as an educator in Granada, Spain and Harlem.

Eliza enjoys kayaking, yoga, gardening, concerts and long walks through New York City. You will find her participating in all these activities in Hudson River Park.
