Andrew Ronan, Hudson River Park Trust Vice President of Partnerships, Programming and Events

Andrew Ronan joined Hudson River Park Trust in May 2023 as the Vice President of Partnerships, Programming and Events. He has responsibility over Trust-produced programming, sponsorships, permitting and special events. Prior to joining the Trust, Andrew was the Deputy Director of Cultural Programming for the New York City Department of Transportation’s (DOT) Public Space Unit. While there, Andrew spearheaded the creation of several innovative programs that developed and supported the equitable expansion of public space throughout the city, including Open Streets, the Public Space Equity Program, and the Public Space Programming Initiative. Before joining DOT, Andrew served as Chief of Staff to the Council Member for NYC’s 25th Council District representing the neighborhoods of Elmhurst and his hometown of Jackson Heights, Queens where he oversaw a dramatic expansion of park space in one of the city’s most park starved districts. Andrew holds a BA in Urban Studies and Public Administration from the City College of New York.
