Ranging from the recreational to the competitive paddler, New York Outrigger offers a variety of training programs focused on educating new and experienced paddlers on how to safely navigate local waterways.

New York Outrigger, a volunteer-driven, non-profit educational organization, provides instruction and equipment for outrigger canoeing from the Manhattan Community Boathouse at Pier 96. Outrigger canoeing is a great team activity — try it and you may get hooked.

While you’re in the area, be sure to check out the Frying Pan — serving hot food and cold drinks in a cool place, right on the Hudson River.
