The piers along Hudson River Park are connected by an esplanade, and by sunning lawns, seating areas and other Park amenities. The Tribeca Upland section extends from just north of Chambers Street to the south side of Pier 40. You’ll find lush lawns, flowers galore, a meandering boardwalk, shaded seating areas and scenic overlooks throughout this area.
If sports are more your thing, you’ll also find basketball courts, a street-style skatepark, the Tribeca Dog Run with separate areas for small dogs and big dogs and water features in warmer months. Watch for the telescopes south of Pier 34 on your way to the tennis courts near Pier 40.
