Welcome to HRPK’s STEM Explorers Camp! We’re excited to have you with us for 6 weeks of Hudson River experiments and crafts.
Each week, we’ll introduce a unique theme and project — you’ll be able to check here each Thursday (starting July 9) to get preliminary information for the following week’s lessons. This will give you or your students time to get familiar with the activity plan and collect necessary materials. We’ve designed all our activities and experiments around common household objects or items that are easily accessible and at low cost.
The following Tuesday, campers can then join us as we host a live video session for River Rangers at 1pm and STEM Explorers at 2pm. We’ll discuss the topic of the week, share dynamic demonstrations, and answer questions to help students progress through the week’s lesson. Don’t worry if you miss the live feed! We’ll post these videos online later that day for you to watch whenever it’s convenient.
When you’ve completed each week’s lesson, come back to our website where you can upload photos of your craft or share results from your at-home experiment! We will be collecting students’ work so we can see all the great projects and post them to permanent galleries online. We’ll also share some of your crafts and experiments in the next week’s live video!
Tune in Tuesdays at 2 PM for our Live Lesson
