Fun Facts:

  • Sometimes called decorator crabs. Carapace is covered in tiny, hooked hairs that it uses to attach plants, sponges, and other organic material to itself 
  • Can walk forward and sideways, unlike most crabs
  • Very docile relies on camouflage for protection
