Max Size: Up to 30cm (1 foot) leg span
Habitat: Bays, estuaries, and shorelines along the east coast
Diet: Forages for algae, sea stars

- Sometimes called decorator crabs. Carapace is covered in tiny, hooked hairs that it uses to attach plants, sponges, and other organic material to itself
- Can walk forward and sideways, unlike most crabs
- Very docile relies on camouflage for protection
