During this special three-course series designed for ages 16 and up, you’ll dive into fascinating marine science topics that you’ve always wanted to learn more about. Join us for hands-on workshops where you can monitor oysters, check out a plankton sample under the microscope, meet local wildlife and more.
Each workshop is in a unique Hudson River Park setting, including the Pier 40 Wetlab and the Pier 57 Discovery Tank, which will serve as the inspiration for your exploration into local science. Check out our course catalog below and enroll today!
About This Course
The Hudson River is home to over 85 species of fish, including seahorses and striped bass. Join us in our Wetlab aquarium for a deep dive into local fish species. Meet wildlife face-to-face and learn how to identify some of our most common Hudson River residents.
This course will take place in the Pier 40 Wetlab.
