Bird of the Year Awards

Celebrate the Bird of the Year Awards with Hudson River Park naturalist Keith Michael.

Join us during National Bird Week for a live reading of the Bird of the Year Awards 2025 at The Pier 57 Discovery Tank.

During the awards, Keith Michael, local photographer and bird-enthusiast, will showcase his beautiful photography of NYC birds (many of which were snapped within Hudson River Park’s boundaries!) and share the winners of a variety of categories.

This event is free and open to the public, and no advance registration is required.
