U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Classes

How to Join America’s Waterway Watch

Can you help the U.S. Coast Guard keep our coast and harbors safe? Yes!

America’s coasts, rivers, bridges, tunnels, ports, ships, military bases and waterside industries may be the terrorists’ next targets. Waterway security is better than ever. But with more than 95,000 miles of shoreline, the U.S. Coast Guard and local first responders can’t do it alone.

This one-hour seminar is taught by a certified instructor of the U.S Coast Guard Auxiliary and provided free of charge. Advance registration is required; to attend, contact Andrew Lom at the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary.

In this course, you will learn how to participate in America’s Waterway Watch, a national awareness program that asks those who work, live or recreate on or near the water to be aware of suspicious activity that might indicate threats to our country’s homeland security.
