Bike Skills 102: Practice Session

Bike Skills 102: Practice Session is a two-hour supervised practice session, not a structured class.

This free, supervised, session is for adults and teens ages 14+ to practice stopping, starting, and steering a bike (students under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian).  This session is intended for recent Learn to Ride participants, but we welcome anyone who isn’t confident with their bike control skills.

Participants can practice on one of Bike New York’s loaner bikes (if you register in advance), though participants are encouraged to use your own bike.

Please note: This is not a Learn to Ride Class. Bike Skills 102 is intended for students who can already ride. Visit Bike New York’s site to read about their Learn to Ride program.
