Important Notices
- The events associated with the FIFA World Cup and the United States’ 250th anniversary may require significant realignment and deployment of Trust personnel and resources. To more effectively deploy these personnel and resources, and to prioritize public safety, the Trust may deny certain permit applications for events between June 1, 2026, and July 31, 2026.
- Biking and scootering are prohibited on the Park’s esplanades and piers. Walk your bike or scooter, or use the bike path adjacent to the Park.
- No e-bikes, e-scooters or motorized vehicles of any kind are permitted on the Park’s esplanades or piers, or on the bike path adjacent to the Park.
Construction & Maintenance Updates
W 29 to W 44 Street Landscape and Esplanade Design: An exciting project is underway in the Chelsea and Hell’s Kitchen sections of Hudson River Park. The area between W 29 to W 44 Street is one of the final unfinished areas of the Park. Our goal is to introduce much-needed green space within this busy 15-block area. Learn more about this design effort that includes community residents and local businesses.
Now Open: Chelsea Piers’ New Waterfront Public Walkway, expanding access to the waterfront within Hudson River Park between W 17 and W 22 streets.
