We are repairing & refreshing parts of the Pier 25 Playground, including new play surfaces. Intermittent closures will be required to accommodate disruptive work, which is expected to conclude in early 2024.

Each of Hudson River Park’s four playgrounds has been custom-designed by celebrated landscape architects to provide uniquely inspiring play opportunities for children. During warm weather seasons, each also provides welcoming water features to delight and cool kids who like to get wet. Bring your beach buckets!

One of the most popular areas in Hudson River Park is the Pier 25 Playground. Filled with activities for children including swings, climbing structures, water features and more, this oasis in Tribeca is a haven for children who need a safe place to run and play. Parents and caregivers will also appreciate the shaded seating areas while they keep watch over their kids.

Beyond the playground, Pier 25 also offers other places and ways for kids to play. There’s a turf field for hopping, skipping and running, a mini golf course (fee applies), and even a historic vessel for exploration. It’s also easy to treat your child (or yourself) to ice cream or snack from one of two nearby concessions.
