When Broadway’s dark, the waterfront is alive! Mondays between July 15 and August 5, stop by Hudson River Park’s Clinton Cove to see the greats perform. Broadway by the Boardwalk will feature theater’s stars performing for free.
About the Artists
Adam Jacobs
Adam Jacobs is currently performing the role of “Captain Walker” in The Who’s Tommy on Broadway. He’s most known for originating the role of “Aladdin” in Disney’s Aladdin on Broadway (Drama Desk & Grammy nomination). Prior to that he starred as “Simba” in The Lion King and “Marius” in Les Miserables.
He has traversed the country in five Broadway National Touring productions, and has performed with symphonies in Carnegie Hall, The Kennedy Center, and internationally in Vienna, Dubai, and Japan. Regionally, he’s starred in The King and I (Drury Lane), Zorro (Alliance Theatre—Suzi nomination), Something Rotten (Marriott Theatre). He’s performed on television on Chicago Med, Soundtrack, and The Bachelorette.

Arielle Jacobs
Arielle Jacobs starred as ‘Princess Jasmine’ in the smash-hit Broadway musical Disney’s Aladdin, and most recently starred as the former First Lady of the Philippines ‘Imelda Marcos’ opposite Lea Salonga in the historic first-ever all-Filipino Broadway cast of David Byrne’s Here Lies Love.
Ms. Jacobs made her Broadway debut starring opposite Lin-Manuel Miranda, playing ‘Nina Rosario’ in the final Broadway cast of his four-time Tony Award® and Grammy Award® winning musical In The Heights. She also starred in Wicked on Broadway as Nessarose and originated the role of ‘Gabriella’ in Disney’s High School Musical On Stage, as well as the role of ‘Delilah’ in the Off-Broadway musical Between The Lines. Her powerful voice has graced films including Marvel Comics’ Edge of the Spiderverse #4, and concert halls alongside renowned artists.
