It seems like summer has blown by in the blink of an eye! What better way to make the most out of what remains of summertime than to spend it in your very own riverfront backyard, Hudson River Park? There are endless activities for you and the whole family to enjoy along our four miles of Hudson River breezes, tree-lined paths and sunny lawns. To help ensure you make the most out of your visit, we’ve come up with a 2021 summer bucket list of must-dos in the Park!

With all the hot days we’ve been experiencing, getting on the water will become your new best friend! With opportunities to kayak, sail, row and outrigger canoe in Tribeca, Greenwich Village, Chelsea, Hell’s Kitchen and Clinton, your Park’s a total gateway to a cooling adventure on the Hudson River.

Enjoy the remaining rays of summer sun (or a warm summer evening) with dreamy views of the Hudson River as you sit back and enjoy refreshing cocktails and oysters or beers and fries at our various dining options all along the Park. Be sure to check out Grand Banks, Drift In, Frying Pan, City Winery, City Vineyard, Hook’d on the Hudson and more for your new summer hotspot!

Break a sweat! There are so many ways to get active in HRPK. Our four miles of riverfront esplanade, piers and paths are a runner’s, jogger’s or walker’s dream! Prefer to take a class? Our Healthy on the Hudson series, powered by lululemon and supported by Chelsea Piers Fitness, transforms the Park into the best outdoor gym in the world! The Park is also home to a wide variety of sports such as tennis, basketball, beach volleyball, skateboarding and much more for all of our recreational sports lovers.

You can even dance your way into the fall with Batingua Arts and Sunset Salsa. Check out our events page to learn more!

Make a day out of it! With so many ways to enjoy the Park, be sure to make the most out of it! You can go mini-golfing at Pier 25, then head to one of our live events. Or, make your way to the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum and head down to the Frying Pan for lunch. You can even go for a run in the morning and fly on trapeze in the afternoon! The possibilities are endless.
