Nestled along your Park’s northernmost piers, our Clinton section is a riverfront gem. With sweeping lawns, a popular boathouse, and unique, artful features, this is an ideal destination to kick back and enjoy waterfront relaxation.

Accessed from W 55 or W 59 Street in Hell’s Kitchen, Pier 97, the Park’s newest pier, brings a unique mix of recreational and lounging space for visitors to enjoy.

Piers & Places

Clinton Cove

This quiet, grassy area offers a retreat from the busy city. Come here to kayak, toss a ball, picnic or watch the sunset.

Pier 95

Pier 95 may be small, but it’s got a big personality. It’s part of the Clinton Cove section of Hudson River Park.

Pier 96

Part of Hudson River Park’s mission is to create opportunities for people to get into the water. The Pier 96 Boathouse is one of four custom-built structures dedicated to this purpose.

Pier 97

Accessed from W 55 or W 59 Street in Hell’s Kitchen, Pier 97 brings a unique mix of recreational and lounging space for visitors to enjoy.

Clinton Cove Lawn

Clinton Cove, located at the northern most area of Hudson River Park, features a large sweeping lawn with trees and a magnificent view of the Hudson River.

Kayaking at Pier 96

Manhattan Community Boathouse provides free kayaking on a first-come, first-served basis during the summer and early fall season.

Pier 96 Community Compost Drop Off

Our Community Compost Program invites local residents to participate in simple, yet effective actions to support sustainability. Deposit your food scraps in the brown bins at the following sites from 7:00 AM-7:00 PM.

Pier 97 Playground

Hudson River Park's newest playground features a one-of-a-kind climbing structure, fun slides and engaging sand and water elements designed to spark every child’s imagination.
