Why I’m racing for Team HRPK:
Hudson River Park became my home when I moved into the West Village in 2020. Pier 46 is where I started my business, took refuge during Covid with my community and the place that has served as mine and my dog Toad’s favorite place to explore these last several years. I feel incredibly connected to HRPK and to represent our team and this city in the marathon is a huge honor for me.

My favorite part of the Park to run through:
Starting at Pier 46 with the water to my right and the Freedom tower in front of me cruising down into the wooded path near Pier 26 and continuing south towards Lady Liberty and pier A.

How long I’ve been running:
I’ve been an athlete all my life with running being a part of the different sports I competed in. I transitioned to running specifically in 2020 and have found it to be the space where I can tap into higher levels of performance both mentally and physically. I love running around exploring NYC there’s so much nature that surrounds us.

Hudson River Park is a  special place for NYC athletes because…
When you run along the Hudson River Park, you’re able to step away from the traffic and the sky scrapers and take in a totally different world. The water, the trees, the different views of the city, Ellis Island, the Statue of Liberty – it’s very special.

If I could say one thing to Hudson River Park supporters, it would be…
Be grateful.

Three words that describe my running are…
Strong, fast, fun
