Board of Directors

Pursuant to the Hudson River Park Act, the Board of Directors of the Hudson River Park Trust consists of 13 Directors. Five are appointed by the Governor; five are appointed by the Mayor; and three by the Manhattan Borough President. Eight members are required for a quorum and Board approvals.

Five members are appointed by the Governor of New York State (Hon. Kathy Hochul); five are appointed by the Mayor of the City of New York (Hon. Zohran Mamdani); and three by the Manhattan Borough President (Hon. Brad Hoylman-Sigal). The New York State and New York City Parks Commissioners and the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (inclusive of their designees, as may be applicable) are each voting ex officio members of the Board. Eight members are required for a quorum and Board approvals.
